About the course

This programme is for practising RCICs who already use generative AI and want to move from casual prompting to repeatable, controlled workflows inside an immigration practice.Draft

Across eight live evening sessions you will design, test and review workflows for document review, forms, legal research, client communication and intake, with professional responsibility and human review built into every step. All exercises use fictional files.Draft

What you will work on

  • Foundations

Choosing suitable tasks, defining inputs and outputs, setting source boundaries, structured instructions and human review checkpoints.

  • Professional responsibility

The Code of Professional Conduct, competence, confidentiality, accountability for AI errors, and current government and tribunal requirements.

  • Document review and discrepancies

Extracting facts with provenance, document inventories, and discrepancy logs that separate extracted facts from AI inference.

  • Forms and online applications

Mapping verified source information to form fields, validation rules, reconciliation and client confirmation checkpoints.

  • Legal research and drafting

Framing research questions, verifying citations and quotations, and building evidence-linked submission outlines.

  • Client communication and intake

Controlled drafting of client correspondence, and intake workflows with escalation flags.

  • Integrated workflow audit

Tracing a fictional matter from intake to final professional review with a quality rubric and revision log.

  • Applied vibe coding

Specifying, building and testing a small internal prototype with fictional data, including failure testing and a deployment decision.

  • Practice implementation

Content and enquiry handling, workflow costs, and a 30-day implementation plan for your own practice.
